Zeev Lieber - Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Zeev Lieber is the original inventor of the SlashID protocol. Zeev brings over 10 years of experience in the Hi-Tech industry, as well as expertise in cryptographic protocols and PKI.
For the last 6 years, Zeev worked for Certicom Corp in various development and management positions. During these years he was deeply involved in implementations of a variety of security technologies, such as TLS/SSL, WTLS, PKCS standards and PKI. Among others, Zeev was responsible for the complete Java product line of Certicom.
Prior to Certicom, Zeev worked for SAP Ofek (Israel), as well as NetManage, the company that pioneered TCP/IP on Windows (Winsock).
Zeev graduated from the Technion, Israel Instutute of Technology and holds B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
Colin Smillie - Director of Marketing
Colin Smillie, a marketing executive with extensive marketing experience at several leading Internet, web, wireless and security companies in Canada, the United States and Asia-Pacific.
In the past he worked with Trader Corporation, a Yellowpages Group company, as a Senior Brand Manager for their Real Estate and Employment verticals. He was able to lead several cross-functionality initiatives including the new Urban Living magazine launch which was well received by both readers and advertisers in the Toronto downtown core. He also worked as Product Manager for Trader Media Corporation on their Autotrader.ca site, one of the leading automotive sites in Canada, where he was able to develop a advertising exchange business with General Motors and Mercedez Benz Canada.
As Product Manager at Certicom he helped turn the failing movian security enterprise focused software line into a leading embedded security product that is available in a variety of Motorola, Research In Motion, Sony-Ericsson and PalmOS devices today. This change in business model was able to radically change the business dynamics and lead to one of Certicom's most valuable product lines.
Ross Bennett - Board Member
Currently, Ross is the VP of Product Development for Certicom Corp; he is responsible for all product development activities for Certicom product lines.
Ross comes with 15 years of experience in the development and deployment of high-assurance data communications solutions for the wireless industry. He has been a key member of the Certicom engineering organization since 2000, and played an important role in the successful launch of several award-winning and achieving ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Certicom.
Prior to joining Certicom, he held a variety of management positions with high technology companies in Canada. He was a member of Excaliber Inc. an IT strategy and professional services organization engaged in the deployment of high end CRM solutions, where he lead highly functional project implementation teams. Previous to Excaliber, he held a wide variety of positions with Mobile Computing Corporation, a company that develops and implements wireless information management systems for the transportation industry.
